After months of advance notice has finally managed last December Sky to offer Sky Go for Android. However, only a few devices from Samsung were supported. Other apps, including Sony, have been promised but not yet delivered.   Samsung Galaxy J7 hard case
Users of an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch from Apple to access the range of Sky Go has since seemed like an eternity, also the app has now been significantly improved by various updates. Android users, however, had to repeatedly using the standard formulations of Sky put off that were "shortly" and similar. In December last year it was finally over, but the initial joy had to give way quickly great disillusionment: all nine smartphones and tablets have been supported. In addition to two Nexus smartphones from Google were the seven devices from Samsung. So far, the list has grown to a total of 15 units, but neither the current top smartphones Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Galaxy, nor the devices of other manufacturers are including.

Now, the pay-TV channel proudly proclaims: "Sky launches premium service Sky Go on Sony smartphones and tablets". Sounds once good, but on closer inspection as disappointing as the original launch. Just four Sony devices are supported at the beginning. Here Sky had placed in the announcements from last year support for seven units in view (see list in the article linked above). Now, after all the owners of Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact, Z3 Compact Tablet and Xperia Tablet Z4 via Sky Go can look forward. The rest continues to look into the proverbial tube.
